This is a reinterpretation of The Brothers Grimm's Hansel & Gretel; the underlying theme I chose to represent through my photographs is trapped versus free. We were assigned an area in San Francisco (I photographed the Dog Patch area it was eerie and magical at the same time). I visually presented quotes that stood out to me by printing type on transparencies and photographing through them.
